How do I confirm a classification?
Answer Yes, Other dimension or Does not apply on the evaluation screen — only your answer turns a suggestion into evidence.
The core of KarmaFlow
The AI suggests which mechanism is visible in your situation. Whether that’s right is your call. A suggestion on its own doesn’t count — only your confirmation becomes evidence.
How it works
Right after you submit, the evaluation screen asks "Does this classification fit your situation?". Below it, three options:
- Yes — the suggested classification is right. It counts as evidence for that mechanism.
- Other dimension — a picker opens with the remaining five mechanisms. The one you choose becomes the evidence.
- Does not apply — none of them fit. Then no evidence is created and the classification counts for nothing.
You answer once per entry. After that the card shows a short confirmation: "Thank you — your confirmation has been saved.", "Your correction has been saved." or "Noted — this classification does not count."
Right after the entry
Confirmation belongs to the evaluation of that particular entry. In History you can’t confirm a classification retroactively — take those few seconds straight away.
If it doesn’t work
If you see "Could not be saved. Please try again later.", the connection dropped. Your entry itself is saved; only the confirmation is missing.
Why this matters
Everything KarmaFlow shows you later — signal profile, weekly view, 30-day profile, patterns — is calculated from confirmed evidence, not from AI suggestions. Without confirmations your profile stays empty, no matter how diligently you write.
Your corrections are also the only feedback that shows us where the classification is off.
