What are sparks?

Sparks are a reserve that protects your streak when you miss a day.

Idea

You have a 30-day streak. Today you didn’t manage to write an entry. Normally, the streak would be gone — but if you have a spark, it’s used automatically, and your streak continues.

How do you get sparks?

  • You get 1 spark as a gift for milestone streaks (e.g. 7, 14, 30, 60 days).
  • At most 1 spark is used per day (multi-day breaks cost multiple sparks — or your streak).

Reserve

  • Free: 1 spark (max.)
  • Premium: 3 sparks (max.)

You can see your current spark reserve in Profile under Karma and level. It deliberately isn’t shown on the Home tab.

When are sparks used up?

Whenever you miss a daily note, a spark is consumed automatically — you don’t have to do anything.
